Letting go what once was, among golden trees.

A changing of seasons, without and within.

Fall breeze whispers to you, it’s time to begin.

Have you felt a yearning

for more spaces of rest,

more moments of everyday magic

and a deeper connection to your intuition?

Then the bees might have been calling you.

About this journey

As nature shifts shape and form with Fall arriving, many of us are called to do the same. The summer has brought big changes, and it feels like we are getting to know new sides and strengths within ourselves. As the air outside gets crisper and is filled with the scent of ripe apples, we are called to harvest the new which has ripened within us. As the trees shed their leaves, we are called to leave behind what no longer serves us. This 4 -week meditation journey supports you heed this call of change.

You will journey through four weeks of story, rest and self connection. Each week, a new meditation practice is released (= a Yoga Nidra practice, which is a a highly restful 20-30 minute meditation practice allowing you to rest and dream). You can take the journey at your own pace. You can practice each meditation once or several times a week. For the everyday craving a 15-minute practice is provided. All practices are recorded, and can be taken in your own time.

The practices guide you along story story and deep relaxation techniques to find sacred moments of rest and repose. As you travel along Fall landscapes, with bees and other beings, you are invited to get to connect to your own nature and creativity again. As you listen to the hum of the bees and the whistling of the breeze in the trees, you will hear your own soul speak. Guiding you to follow your authentic path.

Be prepared, by allowing the magic of your rest and intuition to enchant you - your life outside of the practice might become more magical too. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

I am excited to bee-gin this journey together.

About this Practice

Yoga Nidra is a practice and journey of deep rest, intuition and connection. Also called “the yogic sleep” it is a highly regenerative meditation practice proven to improve sleep, stress management and creativity. Initially taught by the Indian rishis and rishikas (the seers), it was a technique promising to take students into deep states of meditation (“samadhi”) faster than others. Today Yoga Nidra or “Non Sleep Deep Rest (NDSR)” is endorsed by science for its beneficial impact on our mental and physical health… (e.g., see here, or listen to Huberman rave about it, or Tracee Stanley explain the science and benefits)

In our modern society many of us are accustomed to doing more to get more. This practice is not about doing more. It is about reconnecting to the wisdom stored deep within our body and soul - and cultivating the trust to surrender this force within. It is practicing the art of being enough. It’s practicing to connect, trust and live from our authentic Self in this world.

How it works

Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down comfortably on your back. You can practice it any time of the day - some use it before bed to fall asleep, some during the day to recharge or in the morning to start the day with deep anchoring within yourself. Yoga Nidra combines a series of breath, body and awareness techniques designed to help you move into progressive states of relaxation. It draws on the stages our brain goes through as we fall asleep - something our body knows how to do. This is why deep states of meditation are possible with this technique without much experience.

My own story

As someone who struggles with falling asleep under stress, Yoga Nidra drew me to it because of the promise that “1 hour of yoga nidra is like 3-4 hours of sleep”*. I was sold. What I found was much more than “just sleep”.

For me yoga nidra takes me to deep states of relaxation and meditation unlike other techniques. From the get go, I wasn’t only able to relax, I also received answers to questions I was asking myself or challenges I was experiencing (e.g., through visions during the practice). I practice Yoga Nidra weekly - sometimes daily (even multiple times). When I had a bad night, a yoga nidra afternoon practice grounds me. When I feel disconnected from myself and feel challenged by life, I find and feel myself again thanks to the practice. For me, Yoga Nidra has changed my life and continues to do so. I am studying with different schools and teachers to dive deeper into its wisdom.

The Nidras I share are designed as true journeys - we use the breath to arrive and anchor our nervous system in balance, and then progressively relax the body and the mind. As we dive deeper, we open the space for intuition to emerge by placing questions into the meditative state. All of this with a custom playlist (optional) to deepen your experience. I am always deeply humbled by the groups that come to practice together and learn something new about myself and my path in every single session.

May the peace and love we cultivate in this practice ripple out into our lives and into the lives of those we touch.

*Science can’t directly prove that - yet what is proven is that the sleep you have during the night gets more regenerative, and you can access the highly regenerative Delta brainwave state even in shorter sessions (which supports brain and physical health)
